New York IDG Drivers: A Decision on Our Pay is Coming

We’ve fought this year to ensure that we are paid fairly for our hours on the road. We’ve called and emailed Uber, Lyft, and the TLC. We’ve rallied and caravaned through the streets. We’ve testified and made our voice heard. For the thousands of Independent Drivers Guild members who have fought for our needed raise this year, YOUR DEDICATION IS THE REASON WE ARE GOING TO WIN. We expect a decision on driver pay from the Taxi and Limousine Commission on April 30, 2025. Stay tuned for the update and details to follow.

New Jersey Drivers: Join Us April 30 for Fair Pay and a Union

Rideshare drivers across New Jersey are taking action on April 30 to demand fair pay, fair treatment, and the right to form a union. As part of the international May Day app worker day of action, we’re coming together at the Driven to Win rally to send a clear message to Uber, Lyft, and our legislators: the time for justice is now. We are essential workers, and we deserve respect on the job.

The rally will take place in Trenton at 11 AM on Wednesday, April 30—and free shuttle buses will be available for drivers from both Edison and Newark. Edison drivers can catch the bus at 9 AM from the Sheraton Edison Hotel (125 Raritan Center Parkway). Newark drivers can board at 9 AM from Military Park (655 Broad Street).
